Tory Burch Perfume Review

Tory Burch Perfume Review

It was about two years ago when I purchased a new perfume for fall and I must say that two years later, I am still in love with Tory Burch perfume. My past experiences have steered me wrong many times before. You know the moment you’re in the store and sample the fragrance by fanning the little scent card beneath your nose and it smells awesome but you already know that it takes more to win you over? Let’s just say that I’ve had more than my fair share of those moments and I no longer have those regrets. Bad fragrance experiences have taught me to always splash or spray a tad bit of the fragrance on at least two pressure points before making my decision. This means that I hardly ever purchase on the spot but return later to buy if the fragrance meets or in this case, exceeds my expectation. I was so excited about the way this fragrance smelled on me that it only took a day for me to decide and that’s saying a lot for me, the perfume procrastinator.

The Scent

Everyone has their favorite and there isn’t anything that anyone could tell me about a fragrance that would make me want to buy or try it for myself. However, I thought it would be great to share with you a real perspective of this fabulous little fragrance. Now, I’ll start by saying that once I find a fragrance that I love, I tend to stick with it for a while and this one is a strong contender as one of my favorites. I know that notes of Bergamot, Grapefruit, and Sandalwood are usually winners for me and they are all pleasantly represented in this Tory Burch fragrance. However, what I love most is that even after I’ve worn it for an entire day, showered and fallen asleep when I awake, I can still get a whimper of the undertones. This is good in more ways than one for me because it actually means that I get to use less of it and it will last longer. I’m not cheap but I am conservative! Tory Burch fragrance also has the potential to adequately accommodate more than one personality type. I consider myself to be a very feminine person that enjoys the frills and thrills of all things ladylike. I like to smell pleasantly sweet but not too sweet if that makes sense and this fragrance gives me the perfect splash of Splenda!

The Talk

I’ve worn Tory Burch perfume for about two years now and I must say that it’s quite the conversation starter. There are several people that often stop me to ask what I’m wearing and tell me that they really admire the scent. I do know that body chemistry has a lot to do with how a fragrance smells on a person because I’ve admired several scents that smell great on others but not so great on myself. However, I too have smelled my favorite, Tory on a few others and really loved the scent. I like that it’s long-lasting, soft and not too overwhelming to the smell. It’s a great little scent for me and I’ve not had the desire to switch up for yet another season. Yes, you guessed it. I’m impressed and not to mention, I smell great too! If you’re looking for a new fragrance for this season, don’t forget to splash a couple of hints behind your pressure points and see if it smells as great for you as it does for me. By the way, some people layer it with the body cream but I don’t, and it still lasts longer than those that I do layer. Some department stores have little samples for customers and that’s exactly what I look for when shopping for any new fragrance.
